I was not aware of Shauna's passing until this morning and I am incredibly stunned and saddened. Just a few days ago I ran across an old picture taken of us by pics n gifts and I decided to look her up and ran across this site. I am shocked and at an absolute loss for words. Shauna was one of the strongest women I knew and a positive leader among any group. I met Shauna in college at Baylor University in my last year, she was a graduate student and we worked to gether at the Student Life Center. We quickly became friends and she was my date to an event my fraternity held every year, Champagne and Bonfire (hence the pic I ran across). Those good memories will always hold a special place in my heart.

To the Greaham Family:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Shauna and I first met in elementary school. My fondest memory of Shauna was her 4th grade slumber party...everyone stayed up all night talking and laughing. She was always such a ray of sunshine. Even after all these years have passed, my parents and I vividly remember how bubbly, bright and full of life Shauna was. My deepest condolences go to you and your family. You all will be in my prayers.

Shauna-
As I am getting ready for your funeral this morning, but I would do anything to be getting ready for a softball game with you instead. I will never forget knocking you around the bases when I was just a freshman and you were a big senior at Texas Wesleyan or my sophomore year when you were our assistant coach. Coaching first base, I think you were just as excited as we were everytime we got a hit. You would celebrate with us, then we would test the pitcher and catcher and have fun! I always thought you were one of the coolest girls. I have nothing but good memories of you. I only wish I would have kept in better contact with you over the years. One thing you can be sure of is that you have brought all of your teammates together through this and although we are all very sad, we will be celebrating your life today and the wonderful person that you were. May you rest in peace #22!
To Shauna's family, she was an amazing girl. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Shauna lived that everyday and she will be missed dearly.

We said a prayer for your family today and know God must have heard. We felt the answer in our heart although God spoke no word. We didn't ask for wealth or fame, we knew you wouldn't mind. We asked God to send you blessings and treasures of a far more lasting kind. We asked God to be with you at the start of each new day. To grant you understanding, peace and happy memories to share along your way. We asked for your family to receive in all things great and small. But it was for God's loving care we prayed the most of all.
We knew Shauna only briefly, but she was delightful and had an infectious smile. May the Lord bless your family and grant you peace in this difficult time.

To Family, Amber, and close friends impacted by Shauna,
I think we are all coming to terms with our loss. There where so many of us who have been brought together because of her. I met Shauna about 4 years ago. We shared some fun times from her music to laughs, great conversation, women’s shoes and “the Notebook”. She opened my eyes to several things, mainly love of people and friendship. People come along at right times in our lives and Shauna was just one of those people I was blessed to have known. Shauna touched so many people in so many different ways and I think it's important that you know she is loved and will be missed very much by those she touched.
Shauna – thank you for EVERYTHING!

I want you to know that I am sorry for your loss. Faced with difficult times in life, I cannot help but to dwell on the following words of the Lord:
Prov 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Gen 18:25 . . . Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
We don't always understand "why," but know this, that the Lord is right, and can do no wrong. This is where our faith must grow.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Again, I am sorry. Shauna was my friend. I will miss her.

Mr and Mrs Greaham,
Words are inadequate when things like this happen. I had the pleasure of working with Shauna at the City of Red Oak a few years back and I have thought about her often over the years since she left Red Oak. She was such a bright, enthusiastic ray of sunshine. I remember her on the first day of her job when I was introduced to her. She was so bubbly and excited to work for our Parks Dept. She was a great asset to this City and I was sorry when she left Red Oak. While she was here, she hired my oldest son to work for her to help him have a job during high school. He is now married, in college, working full-time and a Dad. My youngest son, Matthew, passed away last year in a tragic car accident. No parent should ever have to go through burying a child, so I can understand the pain you are going through. All I can say is that while the sadness will always be there, the pain will lesson. Just remember she is in a good place and someday you will be with her.

Shauna always had a smile to give and a loving spirit that surrounded her. She had a caring soul and you could feel it each time you were near her. I have had the priviledge of knowing Shauna for 4 or 5 years. In that time, she became a good friend. Memories shared: Our spiritual talks, guitar lessons she gave me, playing softball together, laughing at her and Logan sing and fall down the stairs, her getting in trouble with the lifeguard on a beach in San Diego, and many more great times.
My condolences goes out to her Family, Amber, and her friends. please know that she has touch my life in a positive way and I am a better person because of it.
