In tears we saw you sinking, And watched you pass away. Our hearts were almost broken, We wanted you to stay. But when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, How could we wish you back with us, To suffer that again. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God took you home

Delia was preceded by her parents, Victoriano Leal and Maria Dela Garza Leal and brother Guadalupe Leal.
Delia is survived by her husband Basilio Cuellar and daughter Tera Lynn (Mike) Colby and the light of her eyes, her granddaughter, Aurora Marie Colby; siblings Gumecindo (Petra) Leal-Hgn, Luis Leal- SLC,UT, Josie (Marcial) Zamora- Hgn, Daniel (Emma) Leal-Hgn, Victor (Herlinda) Leal-Hgn, Manuel (Gina) Leal-Hgn Raul (Kat) Leal-Corpus Christi and numerous nieces and nephews which she adored and they adored her!
No local services will be held. Funeral arrangements and service will be held in Mt. Vernon, We will always carry you in our hearts!

Tia Delia, I'm gonna miss you. You were one of a kind. I can still remember, like it was yesterday, all of us being at grandma's house out in the back, laughing and joking, pero unas carcajadas buenas. Those are the most fond memories I have of you Tia. I love you my sister n will always carry you in my heart , we have such good childhood memories. The games we used to play, la vieja inez , los frijoles quemados , sera melon sera sandia , playing tag n hide n sike, going to DJ n dancing the bump , the robot and just dancing our feet away. You would come to our house n we would ho bike riding . so many beautiful memories that we will always cherish , i love you Delia Leal n you will be dearly missed , R.I.P my sister forever in our hearts.❤❤❤❤
