Edmundo "Pacito" Ramos, Jr., age 67, born in San Diego, Texas died on March 11, 2015 after a sudden illness in San Antonio, Texas. Welcoming him home to the Kingdom of God is his father, Edmundo Ramos, Sr, mother Anita, brother Orlando, and sister Dora Virginia.
"Pacito" worked for Bealls department store, where he retired after 38 years. He loved life and always enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed playing racquetball, softball, and a shark at billiards.
Most importantly, he was a family man who put his loved ones first. He never failed to be a source of support or encouragement to his family and friends. He was a man of few words but a man of action. He always found ways to express his love like opening his home to family and with little things like returning a borrowed bowl filled with banana pudding. He was compassionate, caring, patient, and the best father a daughter could have. His absence on earth will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughter, Anna Lisa Rackley, and husband Daniel, sister-in-law Koni Ramos Kaiwi, niece Julissa and nephews Jamie Javier and Orlando Jr., and a family blended with love: grandchildren Jack, Logan, Terra, Mia, Desiree, Derek, stepdaughter Deandra, and his best friend for life, Henry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home-San Diego 1016 E. Gravis St. San Diego, Texas 78384, with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. that evening.
All services will conclude that evening.
