Hugh Alexander Fernandez
HARLINGEN - Hugh Alexander ``Alex'' Fernandez, 36, a devoted husband, father, son and brother entered into rest on June 29, 2005 in Harlingen.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jose and Teodora Hernandez and paternal grandparents Teodoro and Juanita Fernandez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lorie Scott Fernandez, four children, Felicia Lisette Fernandez, Arielle Fernandez, Callie Fernandez, and Sabrina Fernandez all of Harlingen. He is also survived by his parents, Mr.& Mrs. Santiago Fernandez of Harlingen, two brothers Jimmy (Robin) Fernandez of Minnesota, Eddie (Windie) Fernandez, of California and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, Friday, July 1, 2005 from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace in Harlingen. The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2005, with visitation beginning at 8 a.m. at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Harlingen and a 10 a.m. funeral service with Father David Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria under the auspices of the American Legion Post 205 and VFW Post 2410.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Muniz, Tito Resendez, David Villarreal, Joshua Fernandez, Joey Fernandez, and Jamie Quintanilla.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen.
