1928 - 2016

Lyford - Rev. Josue Zamarron, 88, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at his home in Lyford, TX. He was born on June 17, 1928 to Esteban and Dionicia (Bonoso) Zamarron in Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Dalila Hickey, grandson, Jaime Zamarron, brother, Esteban Zamarron and sister, Marta Zamarron. Josue is survived by his wife, Debora H. Zamarron, sons, Josue (Ruth) Zamarron, Jr., Juan (Durenda) Zamarron, Joel F. Zamarron, daughters, Elizabeth Hernandez, Ana Zamarron, grandchildren, Joann (Omar) Delgado, Jennifer (Carlos) Marquez, Josue Zamarron III, Javier Zamarron, Veronica (Paul) Alvarado, Peggy (Ruben) Trevino, John (Erica) Hernandez, Jonathan (Michelle) Zamarron, Jessica Zamarron, Joseph (Yesenia) Zamarron, Julio (Nataly) Zamarron, Monica Martinez Zamarron, Rene Julian Hernandez and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation began on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 10am until 9pm with a prayer service at 6pm at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 8am until 9pm with a prayer service at 6pm also at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate Josue's life will take place on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 10am at the Wesleyan Church located at West 9th Ave. & Huisache St. in Lyford, TX. A funeral procession will lead to his final place of rest to the Lyford Evergreen Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Josue Zamarron III, Javier Zamarron, Jonathan Zamarron, Joseph Zamarron, Julio Zamarron, Rene Julian Hernandez and John Hernandez. Honorary pallbearer will be Joel Zamarron.
