After hearing about Judy I was very sad. I had alot of different emotions being that I haven't seen or talked to her in so long. Even though it has been awhile I know Judy still thought of me the way I thought of her. We had many good times together, Me Judy and Robin were a special group of friends. I wish I hadn't lost touch with her. I will love and miss her always...

Steven and your beautiful baby girls, Mr. and Mrs. Dominguez, the Martinez family, Clarissa, Claudia, and Kim, my most sincere condolences to all of you. Words cannot express how truly sorry I am. I've known Judy for such a long time, even before Mike and my Mom were married, she was such a great friend to my aunt Belinda. Each memory that I have of her, she always had one of the most radiant smiles I have ever seen. Her laugh was so distinct that you knew it was her laughing and you couldn't help but laugh right along with her. My prayer is that God give each of you a strength and like His Word says, a "peace that passes all understanding" through this difficult time. Now you will be able to carry on Judy's legacy: To live to the fullest, To love with no ending, and to give with a cheerful heart. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.

It is a tragic event but we "friends of 94" have to thank her for bringing us back together.
THANKS JUDY.
You will be remembered always.
To the family- You can count on us.
Her girls need to know what a wonderful person Judy was.

To the Trunnell and Dominguez Families:
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel. For many years, Judy was one of the few angels that walked the face of the earth as she cared for special needs children. Everyone that had a connection with her was blessed but God has called her name. We will continue to pray for the strenght that the family needs and for her beautiful daughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Dominguez, Michael and Janette:

I was very saddened to hear about Judy's passing. While I did not know her as an adult, I remember her as a young beautiful child when Michael and I were in school together. How honored each of you must be to see such beautiful things written about her. While my heart is filled with sadness and grief, my mind has comfort knowing that our God is a wonderful God and he is going to give each and everyone one of you the strength you need to get through the days, months and years to come. She leaves two beautiful children who need their family to tell them just how lucky they were to have Judy as their mother, even if her time on this earth was cut short. Each of you have your own special angel in heaven. Never lose your love and faith in Christ our Lord. He is at your side and will not leave you. He will get you through this difficult time if you let him. My thoughts and prayers will remain with your family.

Dominguez Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't believe this could happen to such a beautiful and loving person. I know it has been about a year since I last saw you but it seems like just yesterday. My heart goes out to the Dominguez/Trunnell families! An angel will forever be watching over you all! This poem is simply Judy........

Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter.
And if you need to cry,
cry with your brother or sister
who walks in grief beside you.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give to them what you need to give to me.
There are so many who need so much.
I want to leave you something --
something much better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I've known
or helped in some special way.
Let me live in your heart
as well as in your mind.
You can love me most
by letting your love reach out to our loved ones,
by embracing them and living in their love.
Love does not die, people do.
So, when all that's left of me is love,
give me away as best you can.

May 7, 2009

Dear Judy Trunnell’s Family,
I did not know your daughter, nor your family, but as a mother, after having experienced the same, I know the unexplainable painful hole in your very being. My heart has been heavy with grief for your loss. Your daughter sounds like she was a wonderful daughter, wife and mother. I have found that the best you can do is live for her children and take care of them, as she will live on through them. I know that words of sympathy seem frivolous and useless, but take it all in, as that and prayers are the best that others can give you. I have talked to many and found that “Compassionate Friends” are great. Please find a chapter in your area and contact them. I can be there for you, when you just need to talk and/or just cry. Please look me up.

Mike, I was saddened to hear of your sister's condition a couple of weeks ago, although I did not know her, I know in my heart she was a wonderful person and an angel sent to this earth to do her task, as she completed that certain task that only God knew what it was, He called her back home. Be comforted to know she is in Heaven watching over you, your parents, your sister, Jannette, Her husband and most of all her beautiful children.

Keep her memory alive for her daughters to know how special their mother was. You and all of your family will be in thoughts and prayers.

My heart felt prayers are with the Trunnell family.......I was priviledged to know Judy when I worked at the original JFK campus in Mercedes and I was amazed of her patience and caring for the special ed. kids. I worked along side Judy, Mrs. Fernandez, Cris, and my dear friend Alfredo Izaguirre. We were a team and we enjoyed working along side one another. I recall taking my famous tuna salad for lunch and I shared it with my friends and fellow co-workers. Judy was the first one to ask.........hey Mr. Carreon that tuna salad looks delicious......even though she already had lunch! She finally asked me for the recipe and I happily obliged! She told me she made it for Steve but Judy said she put too much garlic! AH QUE JUDY!! I'm going to miss her contagious laugh and her caring and warm demeanor!! Fuistes una buen amiga, Judy! Y que dios te bendiga, mija!! See you in the resurrection!

My deepest condolences to Judy's family. Judy was a wonderful caring person, she had such a wonderful smile. Let her daughters know how wonderful she was and how much of inmpact she made in everyone's life, always thinking of others and asking little for herself. She will be deeply missed. Let the Lord hold your hand, and walk with you during these troubled times.
