Maria Delgado Obituary
Maria was a member and founding parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and visitor for Christ. She also was a member of the Hijas de Maria at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Her passion was to serve the Lord. She was a loving and caring Mother who will be dearly missed.
Maria G. Delgado is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Delgado Sr., Brothers, Reyes Rodriguez and Eulalio Rodriguez Sr. and sister, Consuelo Breeze.
She is survived by her children, Alberto Delgado Jr. (Martha) of Lorton, VA, Patricia D. Sanchez (Leo) of Harlingen, Ruben Delgado (Dianna) of San Antonio, Ramiro Delgado of Harlingen, Alicia D. Maxwell (David) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Isidro (Sid) Delgado (Isabel) of Harlingen, Grandchildren, Ramsey N. Delgado, Jacob A. Sanchez and Gabriel R. Delgado. Sisters, Genoveva Delgado, Ignacia Rodriguez, Cirilda (Hector) Hernandez, Paula Villegas and sister-in-law, Maria S. Rodriguez, brothers, Jesus Rodriguez (Librada) and Domingo Rodriguez (Lupe). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held today January 12, 2018 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a prayer of the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7 pm tonight. Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, La Feria.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Alberto Delgado Jr., Ruben Delgado, Ramiro Delgado, Isidro Delgado, Leo Sanchez, and David Maxwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Mario Reyes, Joe Villarreal, Joe F. Martinez and Humberto (Beto) Herrera.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, Inc. 1002 E. Harrison Ave. Harlingen, TX 78550

Lamento mucho sinceramente la pérdida de su ser querido, una experiencia muy dolorosa , pero le consolará saber que todo este sufrimiento pronto acabará como promete Dios mediante la biblia en el libro de Revelación capitulo 21 :3 que dice ,"Con eso, oí una voz fuerte desde el trono decir: Mira! La tienda de Dios está con la humanidad, y él residirá con ellos, y ellos serán sus pueblos. Y Dios mismo estará con ellos. 4 Y limpiará toda lágrima de sus ojos, y la muerte no será más, ni existirá ya más lamento ni clamor ni dolor. Las cosas anteriores han pasado". Si, la muerte pronto dejará de existir y lo mejor es que volveremos a ver a nuestros seres queridos que se han dormido en la muerte
