Nicolas Araiza Obituary
HARLINGEN, TX.-
Nicolas R. Araiza 93, of Harlingen entered into rest November 6, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his sons, Nicolas Araiza, Jr. and Jose Antonio Araiza, daughter, Gloria Araiza and grand-daughter, Lahoma A. Ramirez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Concepcion (Connie) Araiza of Harlingen; four children, Gertrudes (Joe) Pena of Houston, Eva (Roy) Martinez and Rebecca (Ruben) Flores of Harlingen and Richard (Chris) Araiza of Round Rock, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today (Thursday) from 10am to 9pm with a holy rosary at 7pm.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 9, 2012 departing the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 1:30pm for a 2pm Mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and interment will follow under the auspices of the American Legion Post #205 at Restlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Ryan Martinez, Joshua Flores, Joey Pena, Jacob Pena, Richard Araiza, Jr., and his great grandsons, Jonathan Valdez Caleb Bonner, Sean Bonner and Kyle Janacek.
Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen.
