CORPUS CHRISTI, TX.- Paula Sletner-McGinnis, 63, passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Friday, April 17, 2009.
She was born in Georgetown, Texas to Harry F. and Virginia Sletner, May 22, 1945. Paula was an interesting, fun loving person, whose charm and energy was a joy to everyone that she encountered. She had an enthusiasm that everyone she knew loved. One of her favorite activities was to travel.
Paula graduated from Pan American College, in Harlingen, Texas, with a Bachelor's of Science Degree. She was also the co-owner and operator of McGinnis Chiropractic, in Corpus Christi, for over 20 years.
Paula was preceded in death by her friend and lifelong companion, Peyton McGinnis.
She is survived by her brother, Donald Sletner (Kathleen); nephew, Ray Sletner; niece, Denille Abrego (Eric); along with numerous cousins and other loving family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 4620 South Alameda, on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.

I knew Paula through her parents Harry and Virginia. My husband and I were members of the CAF and Culpeper's Angels in Harlingen. Our condolences to the family.
