Pedro Palacios Obituary
Pedro (Pete) Palacios Jr, 66, of Harlingen, passed away Thursday,
December 19, at his home surrounded by his wife and children.
Mr. Palacios cherished over 42 years of marriage to his devoted wife,
Rosemary. He was a skilled tradesman, master plumber, and certified
pipeline welder and spent over 25 years with TX Gas Service. He valued
hard work, being respectful, and helping others. He appreciated simple
things in life, such as barbecuing for his family, spending time outdoors,
tending to his livestock, fishing and hunting, and making memories with his
family.
He is survived by his mother, Consuelo Palacios; wife, Rosemary Palacios;
son, Pedro Palacios IV (Laura) and grandson, Javier; daughter, Marissa
Sandoval (Danny) and grandchildren Ezekiel and Alaina; three sisters,
Connie Huerta (Juan), Mandy Ramirez (Felix), Lydia Rodriguez (Rolando);
and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Mr. Palacios was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Z. Palacios.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at Trinity Funeral Chapel from 3-9 PM on Sunday,
December 22, with recitation of the rosary at 7 PM. Funeral mass will be at
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 10 AM on Monday,
December 23. Burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery
