Rene was born October 18, 1974 in Harlingen, TX to Hilda Hernandez Ruiz. Rene enjoyed spending time Barbecuing with his daughters; he loved to cook.
Rene is survived by his loving family; daughters, Kelsey Renae (Brian) Hernandez and Kiana Marie Hernandez; granddaughter, Nahlani Brielle Richardson; brothers, Joe (Gloria) Hernandez, Noe De Jesus (Brissy) Ruiz, Dimas (Jovanna) Ruiz, and Alex Reyes; and sister, Diana (Rey) Robles.
Visitation hours will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 10 am to 10 pm with a Rosary @ 7 pm in Heavenly Grace Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 @ 10 am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in La Feria, TX.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Joe Hernandez, Noe De Jesus Ruiz, Dimas Ruiz, Alex Reyes, Rey Robles, and Brian Richardson.
Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, TX.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home and Crematory, a Dignity memorial provider. (956)797-5500
