Ricardo A. Rodriguez (El Gordo), 49, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents, Maria De Los Angelos and Arturo Rodriguez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Esmeralda Rodriguez; son, Ricardo (Griselda) A. Rodriguez; daughter, Irma (Roman) Rodriguez; two grandchildren, Jesus I. Rodriguez and Melissa Leanne Carmona; three step-children, Desirae Leksi Carmona, Celete Marie Carmona, and Giovanni Rodriguez; two sisters, Mary (Severino) Astello and Rita N. Rodriguez; brother, Rolando Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Irma (Eliseo) Selvera; and several nieces and nephews and loving families.
A Celebration of Ricardo's life will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 11:00 am in St. Benedicts Catholic Church in San Benito.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home and Crematory.
