Robert Q. Alamillo 55, of Harlingen went to be with the Lord November 16, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his father, Candelario Alamillo; his siblings, Ruben Alamillo, Guadalupe Alamillo and Blanca Estella Cavazos.
He is survived by his loving family; wife, Guadalupe Alamillo; his children; Lori Ann Alamillo, Cristina Marie Alamillo, Megan Victoria Alamillo and Robert Edward Alamillo; six grandchildren; his mother, Maria Aurora Alamillo and four siblings, Danny Alamillo, Joe Alamillo, Rosie (Linda) Alamillo and Mary Lou Cavazos.
Robert was employed with Willacy County Sheriff's Dept. for 18 years.
Visitation will begin Friday, November 21, 2014 1pm-9pm and a holy rosary will be at 7pm.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 departing the Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:30am for a 10am service at Queen of Peace Catholic Church and interment will follow at Ashland Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Harlingen.

My deepest condolences to his family. He spoke very highly of his children and his wife. I had the pleasure of working with him a few years ago and his entire world evolved around his children. He spoke to them every day and would totally light up after any conversation he had with his children. He will be deeply missed by the entire staff and we know he is smiling down on all of us. D.
