Robert Dalzell Obituary

Harlingen, Texas - Robert Mifflin Dalzell, 87, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. Born on March 20, 1938, in Mexico, Robert dedicated 60 years of his life to the Shrimp Industry. In his leisure time, he found joy in working on the golf course.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary F. Dalzell; his father, Morgan Daniel; his mother, Anita Daniel; and his sons, Robert M. Dalzell, Greg Peters, and Frank Dalzell.

Robert is survived by his children: Mike Peters, Mary Ann Dalzell, Kelly Green, Louis Dalzell, Paula Heller and his brothers, Harold Daniel and William Daniel. Additionally, he leaves behind eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and his dear friend, Matt Gorges, all of whom will cherish his memory.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Bee First Home Health for their compassionate care during Robert's final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rio Grande Valley Humane Society.
