Rosa Rincon Obituary
Rosa is preceded in death by her mother, Lorenza Rincon, and is survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was a life-long member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Funeral services are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 7th, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a rosary recited at 7:00 PM. A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 8th, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, in Harlingen, Texas. Private burial will be held.

To the family of Rosa Alva, I offer my deepest sympathies on the loss of a most beloved friend and co-worker. I first met Rosa Alva when she first began working with the state and we instantly became friends. We later found out that she had attended the same grade schools as my husband Lolo and knew each other well. We retired from work around the same time more then ten years ago. I am so heartsick at not being able to see her again. As a matter of fact I was looking up her home address on the internet when I came upon her obituary. I so wanted to get in touch with her because she had been on my mind lately. I will forever remember her as she was the most beautiful and wonderful person I had the pleasure of knowing. My deepest condolences to the Rincon Family. Rosa Alva was the most beautiful and wonderful co worker that I had work with. So sad to hear of her passing. Rosie you will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
