Harlingen, Texas - Soledad Gonzalez 87 entered the Lord's Kingdom on March 4, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on April 10, 1937, to Isabel Gonzalez and Francisca Rodriguez in Santa Rosa, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and Francisca Gonzalez; sister Andrea G. Perez; brother-in-law, Justo Perez; nephews Ricky Perez and Juan Perez.

Soledad worked for UniFirst Linen Corporation for 38 years as a linen handler. She was also a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a devout Catholic. She actively participated in various church activities and endeavored to contribute wherever possible. She dedicated her life to serving God and found great joy in arts and crafts, particularly in the process of decorating.

Left behind to cherish her loving memory is her only brother, Guadalupe R. Gonzalez (Angelita), 9 nephews and nieces; Ida Ambriz (Efrain), Sergio Gonzalez (Marybel), Lupe Gonzalez Jr., Ruben Perez, Noe Perez (Patricia), Yolanda Galvan (+Alex), Maria Cantu, Diana Perez, and Baldemero Perez; many great nephews & great nieces.

Visitation will be held on Sunday March 9, 2025, from 4:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, Texas at 2 p.m. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Sergio Gonzalez, Lupe Gonzalez Jr., Sergio Crucifixio Gonzalez, Sebastian Angel Gonzalez, Aaron Joshua Ambriz, and Ari Matthew Ambriz. Honorary pallbearers: Tristan Anthony Gonzalez, Ramsey David Gonzalez, Efrain Ambriz, Ruben Perez, Rene Perez, Ricky Cantu, and Ricky Perez.

Interment will follow at Santo Nombre Cemetery in Santa Rosa, Texas.
