Mr. Maples, took the time in my very troubled youth, to help me get started. Only with his recommendation to the Department of Defense (submarine base) and other acts of kindness was I able to begin in the pipefitting trades. I contribute my success to him and would not be where I am today without his trust in me and my Lord. My only regret is; I did not take the time to thank him, in person, for his help.

I was very fortunate to meet Bill many years ago when I first worked for him. Bill was a gentleman and a mentor to me. I appreciate all the stories and the precious time God gave me in my life to know such a wonderful man. Cathy I am so sorry for you loss. But had I not been blessed to meet Bill I would never have become best friends with his daughter Sherry. My heart aches for you my friend. I know no words I say will ease the pain, but know that I am here for you and God will help you heal.
Love you all
