Ben, I could never repay you for being the father figure, role model and your friendship since 1985. Thank you for all of the great memories. My now late mother and dad thought the world of you too.
Until that great day Ben.

My name is John R. Kneedler of Hawthorne, FL formerly of Sarasota. On behalf of my wife Lisa, we want to express our deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to Judy and Ben's exceptional family. I have been blessed to share my life with Ben since 1985 as my work partner and mentor at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune Circulation Department. Not only was he my colleague, Ben was my best friend and longtime tennis partner. (I would like to think I was responsible for making him the fine tennis player he was). Most importantly, I considered him a role model and a second father to me. Ben was a genuine man of stoicism and faith with humility. His unwavering love and faithfulness to God and his beautiful family was authentic and inspirational. Ben, we love you, we miss you and will always be in our hearts and memories.
