Donald Ward Obituary

Donald L. Ward, Sr., 81, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, in Venice, Florida.

Born on September 8, 1943, he leaves behind his beloved wife, Frances Ward, his daughter Tara DesJardins and son-in-law DJ, granddaughters Abby and Kayla, and his son Donald Ward, Jr. with his wife Jan and granddaughters Paige and Reese. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose kindness and humor touched everyone he met.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. at Farley Funeral Home, 265 S. Nokomis Ave. in Venice, FL.

Donnie and I were friends in high school and had many good times together. I was saddened by the news that he passed. I wish his family my condolences and he will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
