Ellen Brady Obituary

Ellen Anderson Brady, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in her home in Venice, Florida.

Ellen was born on May 21, 1939, in Charleston, West Virginia. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Ellen attended Charleston High School and graduated from Marshall University. Throughout her career, she worked as a teacher, realtor, and docent at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Massachusetts. She worshipped at Venice Presbyterian Church. In her free time she enjoyed playing tennis, golf (including a hole-in-one!), and playing MahJong.

Ellen is survived by her husband Edward Brady, daughter Ann and her husband Dean Cleall; son Bradley Baise; stepson Christopher Brady and his wife Kim; stepson Andrew Brady; and grandchildren Mia Cleall; Maddy, Andrew, and Justin Baise, Evan and Liam Brady. She is also survived by her sister Mary (Pinky) Vital.

A Memorial Service will be held at Venice Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 3:30 PM.

Contributions in Ellen's memory can be made to Tidewell Hospice or the Venice Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
