Berniece V. Wiksell, age 92, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007.
Berniece was born in Whiting, Iowa, on June 7, 1915. Berniece married David Nels Wiksell on Nov. 23, 1938.
Berniece and David had five sons, David, Wendell (wife Ruth), Ronald (wife Donna), Roger (wife Kathy), and Willard (wife Michaela); grandchildren, Sheryl, Wendy, Elizabeth, Laurence, Claire, Megan, Jessica, Susan, Anna, Nicole, Kenneth, David and Karen; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; and her granddaughter, Laurie Jackson.
Berniece worked in the retail business until she was 75 years old. Berniece enjoyed reading and spending time with her extended family.
The family wishes to thank Barbara Lipka and staff for her dedicated care of Berniece. We also thank the nurses and staff at Camarillo Health Care for their professional and caring help given to Berniece.
A private graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Pierce Bros. Valley Oaks Cemetery.
