Cesari Allevi Obituary
Cesari Allevi died peacefully Jan. 19, 2007, in Ojai.
Mr. Allevi was born March 1, 1922, in New Castle, N.Y. During World War II, he served honorably and with distinction in France, Belgium, Germany and Africa.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lillian, and son, Joseph, both of Ojai. He was deeply committed to his grandchildren, Bree, Raquel, Kirsten and Joseph. A multitude of nieces and nephews, along with his sister, Mrs. Walter "Connie" Antinozzi, will miss him dearly.
His joy of living centered around kibitzing with all who would listen! He remained loyal to the New York Yankees and the New York Jets, to the end. His stories and opinions will be sorely missed by all.
