Daniel, there are few times in my life when I can't find the words. What I will say is this, I looked forward to speaking to you on Saturday mornings whenever I could. We shared some very special conversations and emails. I'll really miss you my friend. In the event they're cybering in heaven, I sent you an email.
My deepest condolences to the Fillmore family.

I was so very sorry to hear about Danny's passing. I always liked to think of him as Danny since that is how I knew him. My brothers and I grew up with him directly across the street and he was always pretty nice to me even though I was the little sister of his friends... Although I had not seen him in yrs. I always heard some updates through my parents who have remained very close family friends to Paula and Tony. I am so sorry to hear of this unexpected loss to them as well as to Alan, Randy, and other members of the family. My heart goes out to you all during this time and know that I am thinking about you.

I have all happy funny memories of Daniel. We worked together at Lundberg and I just always remember us laughing so hard we couldn't look at each other without bursting into giggles! I'm deeply saddened.

Daniel was a special friend to me, I considered him "uncle." I am so saddened by his unexpected passing and can't believe hes not here with us anymore. Daniel lit up a room, people were truly drawn to him! He was witty, funny, loving, generous, and extremely smart. I will cherish my memories of him and will probably giggle because that's always what he made me do. Daniel wrote a letter of recommendation for college for me and he was such a big supporter of my education and career. I couldn't thank him enough. I would like to send my condolences to Daniel's family, friends, and my sweet Uncle Dave. Daniel will forever be in our hearts. May he rest in peace now. Sincerely, Caitlin

Dan, Words seem so inadequate at a time like this. The news of your passing today has left me shocked and numb to my core. I know we really hadn't spoken in ages, and I am now reminded to keep family, friends and loved ones in our lives and to always stay in touch with those that we love and those who left an imprint on our lives. You were one of those men who did both. When we first met so many moons ago under the Golden Arches, I was so impressed with your zest for life and how deeply you lived it and how much you loved your life. Your humor always had me laughing deep belly laughs and I have many fond, warm, beautiful memories of you. I am missing you tonight as I realize you aren't here on earth anymore, but now you are angel in heaven who is probably teaching the choir about all that good music we listened to in our youth. God bless you dear Dan. Fly with the angels and keep an eye on us once in awhile. Love always, Rosemary

Daniel, you are gone far too soon. You had been on my mind last week as I was sharing some of the stories from working with you at the Arches. I'm saddened that we had not be in touch in so many years. You were a great boss, and a better friend.

To all of Dan's friends and family: Dan was one of a kind as we all know, and that's why we loved him! I can hardly speak right now so it's good that I am writing... Dan and I had orientation at McDonald's together in 1983. We were friends ever since. Fun was what he knew how to do best, but he also was a very hard and successful employee.
We had more adventures together than either of us would be able to remember. I miss you, Dan.
