Daniel Kadosono Obituary
Daniel Shigeru Kadosono, 32, of Newbury Park passed away Friday, March 14, 2008, suddenly at home from complications from chronic asthma.
Daniel was born July 17, 1975, in Las Vegas, Nev., and had been a Ventura County resident for 28 years.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Kadosono; father, James Kadosono; brother, David Kadosono; sisters, Jolene Smith and Joanne Kadosono; grandparents, John and Mieko Kadosono and Delores Sharp; and seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Pierce Bros. Valley Oaks-Griffin Mortuary in Westlake Village. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Pierce Bros. Valley Oaks-Griffin Mortuary. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes.

Dan the Man.....there is no way possible for me to express how much I love and miss you! This world is so much different without you...I feel as if there is a piece of me missing. There is a terrible painful feeling of emptiness in the family and things just dont feel right anymore. I cry everyday expecting to wake up hoping that I will hear you ask me...."Hey Joanne, do you have any money?" You are the best brother, uncle and friend anyone could ever hope for and I am very proud to say that you are my brother. I am thankful for the 32 years I got to spend with you and all the memories filled with laughter, good times, and love you have left me with. I know that you are alright because I know who you are with (give them my love) and I know that I will see you again. And one by one our family will feel complete again. Remembering you, the boy that you were, the athlete, the "baby", the Hulk, the brother, the uncle, the friend, the man you grew up to be and the feeling of being loved you gave me helps to give me comfort. I will never forget just the other day you went with me to drop Dylan off at the airport and on the way home we didn't really have a lot to say to each (probablly because we saw each other every day) I was just driving and thinking to myself about all kinds of things when I had this feeling of someone watching me... and when I looked over at you, you were staring at me, You smiled and patted my leg and then all serious said, "I Love You, Joanne." I patted your leg back and told you...."I love you to Dan!" The love that you have shown me remains in my heart and you will always be there with me. In my heart in my thoughts and forever my baby brother. I miss you Dan!

I miss you Dan... we all do. You and David are "big brothers" to your "little girl" cousins and we will miss you teasing us and making us laugh. Thank you for being such a loving brother. Although I only got to hang out with Daniel (and Dave) for a short amount of time during our high school years, my life was enhanced significantly by having him in it. I was lucky and blessed to have the experience of knowing Dan and had some great times and memories with him. He was a gentle soul and I will always remember his inherent happiness and good will. I never remember him getting angry or in a bad mood and he always had a good word for everyone.
The world has lost a wonderful person and I wish Dave and the Kadosono family peace in this difficult time. I will think good thoughts for you all and for Dan and will remember him always.

Wow, what a shock. My heart goes out to the Kadosono family. I only knew Dan (and Dave) a little because of soccer... but it's obvious that mom and dad Kadosono did well in rasing thier kids. He was a good guy and will be missed.
Reading through the guestbook, it's refreshing to see so many names from NPHS whom I know and who's lives were touched by Dan also. It's good to see the people of NPHS come together and remember a friend.

One of the fondest things that I always remember is when your mom caught you with a "perscription" as you told her for Playboy. When she asked what you were going to do with it you told her you were going to give it to your Uncle Larry because he is in the navy and can look at Playboy in the navy.
Well Danny you are with Grandpa now and if you find any more "perscriptions" to playboy, save them for when we see each other again (or just give them to grandpa)

I am saddened to hear about Daniel leaving us. I feel so very priviledged to have run into Daniel not too long ago. We had a great conversation and I walked away from him with my spirit lifted. It has been years since I've seen Daniel, but he was a close friend to my dayghters Tabetha and Tanya. His eyes and smile still show the kind of person he was. Always fun loving, kind and great kid. Daniel always welcome into our home the first moment we met him in July of 2000. He was kind, generous and had a heart of gold. There was nobody happier to see Daniel than Dot and Tilly when he would stop by to visit and watch baseball games over the last couple of years. He will continue to hold a special place in our hearts.

Daniel and I were close friends throughout Junior High and High School. We played baseball together my senior year and I think we warmed up together every single practice and every game that year. And each time before we warmed up, Daniel would reenact the scene from Field of Dreams with a straight face… “Hey…Dad…you wanna have a catch?” He would make me smile and laugh every time.
