David Spasiano Obituary
- - David Patrick Spasiano passed away suddenly on August 28, 2019, leaving behind family and friends that are in utter shock and sadness, trying to comprehend this huge loss.
Born on St. Patrick's Day 1961 in Mount Kisco, New York, to Lou and Jan Spasiano, David was the middle child in a family of three boys. He had a wonderful childhood full of sports, world travel (dad was a TWA pilot), and most importantly, the unconditional love and support of an extremely tight-knit family.
David graduated from Rio Mesa High School in Camarillo in 1979, and went on to attend Arizona State University, and soon after straight into the working world. David had an unrivaled work ethic and drive that took him to the top of everything he attempted. He accomplished more in his 58 years than most do in a lifetime. Real estate investments and the stock market were his professional passions, and he was extremely knowledgeable in both.
David's personal passions were music (he was in the popular band Lion I's), tennis (he had been to Wimbledon and many other major events), cooking (he could give any sushi chef a run for his money), gardening (best tomatoes and peppers around), and animals (his "girls" were a huge part of his life.)
David leaves behind his mother, Jan, brothers Michael (Jill) and Steven (Halina), his niece and nephew, Samantha and Andre, his son Kyle - the pride of his life, whom he loved more than anything, Kyle's mother (and David's close friend) Wendy, and his two Bichon's, Mary and Flo-Flo. He is predeceased by his beloved father Lou, who passed away July 26, 2019, and left a huge hole in David's heart.
David also leaves behind so many close friends that he cherished deeply (you know who you are, and how important you were to him) We will all miss his daily texts or calls ("just checkin' in") letting us know he was thinking about us and how grateful he was to have us in his life. He was a true friend and family member, willing to give you the proverbial shirt off his back if you were ever in need.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in David's name to the Ventura County Animal Services, Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center (SPARC), or the Humane Society. Services will be held at a later date.

Unfortunately just learned this, he was my first realtor helping me get my first house. He was a real shark, always did a great job for me and looked out for my family´s interests. Haven´t heard from him in a while which makes sense now. Great dude, he will be missed!

I have just learned of Dave's passing. He & I went to Ridgefield HS together, prior to his moving to Camarillo. We dated from our freshman year until he left for Camarillo. Dave was one of the kindest humans that ever graced my life. He was my first love & I have often thought of him over the years and wondered how he was getting along. I am so very saddened to learn that he has passed and at such a young age. My heartfelt condolences for his family & friends. Rest in peace my dear old friend.

To the entire Spasiano Family,
So sorry to hear about Dave's passing - I'll always remember him as empathetic, adventurous, and being full of life! Despite losing contact as adults I will always cherish the memories of our friendship growing up and during our college days. A few things I'll always remember are his love of animals (raising rabbits as a kid), motorcross, building new relationships and music. I'm sure he's at peace and with other loved ones who have gone before him. My best regards and deepest sympathy for your loss.

Just found out today , was really shocked to hear this , i did alot of work with David over the years , always ahead of the curve, i learned alot from Dave was just thinking of him the day before i heard about his passing, he was good man! always positive very outgoing ,rest in peace Dave!! To Mrs Spasiano and family, I am stunned to hear about David's passing and want to express my condolences. I dated David back in 1981 for about a year and a half. We traveled to Europe together on TWA, and stayed with his grandmother in England for a couple of days. I have many great memories of time spent with him. I still make Mrs Spas's Norwegian Sugar cookies every holiday. I know he will be missed by all of you. We did not stay in touch as life took me elsewhere. I have often thought of him, wondered if he ever married and had children... I am so sorry to hear of his passing at such a young age. I know he will be missed.

David was my introduction to Ventura back when I was a Naval Officer just moving in the area in 2003. His charisma and energy made my wife and I so comfortable about our new home and community. He remained a friend long after we left the area. He has a big spot in my heart.

David was my great friend a great teacher and an amazing supporter who stood by me and counseled me in a major way.
