Dray resided in Ventura most of his life and attended Ventura schools. In 2009 he moved to Thailand to live near his father. This move proved to be a great step toward making life more positive. He opened his own business and found someone he loved.
He is survived by his father, Gene Plueger of Pattaya, Thailand; mother, Karen Plueger, Sister, Tori Plueger (Bryan Gosser) of Ventura; brothers Todd Marks (Laurie), Jerry Marks (Jane), Sister Kelli Mcintyre, nieces and nephews of California.
A Celebration of Dray's life will take place Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 1-3 p.m. at Chicago's Ribs in Ventura, CA. The Plueger family invites all who wish to celebrate with them.

Dray was cool and I liked hanging out with him in Pattaya, Thailand. Spent Christmas 2010 together partying at my apartment. Spent many other days and nights hanging out. He would stop by every day after school. He was learning the thai language. The lady he fell in love with was named Tharnthip Sawatdee. She was with him on the last day he was there.
Will miss you.

Although I lost contact with Dray after he was 15-years-old, I still remember him vividly. I first met Dray in GATE class in elementary school. He was very bright and had a huge crush on a girl named Robin. Dray wrote her cute love poems all the time. They made her blush and they made me swoon. I also remember Dray working diligently on a device that would cushion eggs if dropped from several feet off the ground with his friend Byron.
As I became reacquainted with him when he was a freshman in high school, I remember his love for the beach, his enjoyment of wrestling with the Buena High team and his loyalty to his friends. Dray loved, loved, loved Led Zeppelin. Together we listened to and knew every note of his Led Zeppelin CDs. Dray also loved his flannel and tie dye shirts. It was rare to catch him wearing something other than this.
I also knew that Dray loved his family very much even though he could be quite a handful. I remember his mother's kindness and warmth shown to me at his 15th birthday pool party in Ondolaundo. His father took me for my first Porsche ride on the way to a family BBQ. Gene grilled great hamburgers.
It is a tragedy to lose Dray so early in life. My hope is that Dray can somehow be reunited with lost loved ones. His best friend, Nick Dowey, preceded him in death. I hope that somehow they are enjoying each other's company once again. Rest in peace, Dray.
