Eulogio Corral Obituary

Eulogio "Coco" Corral

Fillmore, CA

Eulogio "Coco" Corral died peacefully on the morning of Saturday, June 16, 2018. He was at his home in Fillmore, with family.

Coco was born in Saticoy, California on May 4, 1939, to José and Dolores Corral. He lived in Ventura County most of his life.

His wife, Charlotte Elkins Corral, preceded him in death. Coco was looking forward to finally joining her again.

Coco is survived by his daughter, Carla, her husband Jason Duque, and their three children, Lilia Charlotte, Sela Milagro, and Ezekiel Tomás; son, Christopher, his wife Jill, and their two children, Sophia Marie and Samuel Christopher; brother, José Corral; and sisters, Frances Romero, Margarita Corral, and Dolores Corral. He was preceded in death by his sister, Delfina Zermeño.

Coco was widely known for his achievements in business and off-road racing. He pushed back on any idea about what he should want or shouldn't do. Coco was daring and hard-working. Those closest to him knew the deep love he had for his family; his relentless pursuit of fun and mischief; his delight in bright colors and new places; and his unwavering generosity toward those who needed a hand. He drew many people to him, eager for his stories, his laughter, and his friendship. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Over recent weeks, the love for Coco came pouring in from all corners. The family extends their gratitude for the many expressions of kindness and support.

Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fillmore.

Carla and Christopher, lots of great memories from my childhood and being on the racing team with my dad Bob Anderson. My favorite was at the motel in Barstow before the afternoon start of the fireworks 250. Your mom jumps in the Swimming pool with her firesuit on !!! As your dad looks on and laughs, us kids had to pull her to safety because she was starting to sink. Such good times ! May god bless and comfort you both. James Anderson, Eagle Mountain Utah.
