It is with great sadness on the passing of our great Father, Husband and Grandfather, Ezequiel Camarena Garcia Born July 09, 1923 to September 25, 2017 Dad was born in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico , Father Jeronimo Reynoso Garcia and Mother Concepcion Barba Camarena.
He was one of seven siblings with only one surviving. Dad came to the United States in search of a better life for his family and Wife. Dad is one of the many Braceros who strived to make a better life for himself and accomplished what many have. Several years ago Dad was one of a few inducted into the Smithsonian under the Bracero program thanks to California State University Channel Islands. Dad married his love of his life of 58 years. Maria Del Rosario Ruiz Garcia also from Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico. In 1959 they married and settled in Oxnard , California, he had six children .He worked for 43 years at Rancho Guadalasca as the caretaker. Dad was a great gardener and everything he touched turned green and beautiful. After retirement at the age of 85 yes believe or not the hardest working man you could meet he took care of our children and gardens. Dad is survived by the following;
Maria del Rosario Ruiz Garcia(Wife), Fidel Garcia (Son), Sijifredo (Fred) Garcia (Son) Catherine Garcia(Wife) Alex Garcia (Son) Raquel Garcia ( Wife) Lourdes Cruz (Daughter) Vince Cruz (Husband) Pedro Garcia (Son), Carmen Mixon (Daughter) Grandchildren, Fidel Garcia Jr., Christopher Garcia, Andrew Jeremy Garcia, Mark Adam Garcia, Kimberly Garcia, Tiffany Garcia, Ashely Nicole Garcia, Arron Joseph Cruz, Stephanie Cruz, Mathew Garcia, Mia Mixon and Ryan Mixon. We will miss you greatly until we meet again. Love your Family.
