Guadalupe Bolanos, 63, of Simi Valley, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 in Simi Valley.
Guadalupe was born in Jalisco, Mexico, Sept. 27, 1947. She lived in Ventura County for 38 years. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, taking walks, mariachi music, watching western films, going to church and praying, camping shopping and she loved dancing.
She is survived by her husband, Gilbert; children, Erica Bolanos Sanchez, Gilbert Bolanos Jr., Enrique Bolanos, Maximiliano Bolanos; daughter-in-law, Ines Bolanos; son-in-law, Reggie Sanchez; grandchildren, Enrico Sai Bolanos and Noah Presley Sanchez; sisters, Delfina Martinez, Bertha Coneche and Sara Fletes; brother, Carlos Coneche; niece and final caregiver, Laura Martinez; brother-in-law, Jose Fletes; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation Tuesday, April 26, from 5-9 p.m. with rosary starting at 7 p.m. at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home, and a funeral mass at St. Rose of Lima Wednesday, April 27 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow immediately after at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Simi Valley.
