He was born on Jan. 11, 1918.
Harris served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a participant in the war in the Pacific. After the war, he returned home to become a cement contractor in the San Fernando Valley, and then a building inspector in Ventura County. He had been a resident of Thousand Oaks since 1966.
His loving wife, Betty Pullin, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son, Gordon Pullin, and his wife, Jan Pullin, of Orange County; his daughter, Marcia Pullin of Paradise, Calif.; dear family friend Jennie Lyle; and three granddaughters, Kelly, Erin, and Lindsay Pullin.
There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, at Pierce Bros. Griffin Mortuary, 101 E. Wilbur Road, Thousand Oaks. Interment will follow at Pierce Bros. Valley Oaks Memorial Park, Westlake Village.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Valley Oaks Mortuary, Westlake Village.
