Jeanine Lino DeGuardi, 82, of Moorpark, California, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was born on November 17, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, the eldest daughter of Josephine and Jerome Lino. She is survived by her husband Ralph, daughter Susan DeGuardi Pavone, grandson Kevin, daughter Diane DeGuardi Tutor, husband Larry, soon to be grandson, Billy, son Quentin DeGuardi, wife Jennifer, grandsons Nicholas, Daniel, Donovan, Christopher and Matthew.

Jeanine graduated from Austin High School, in Illinois, where she met her future husband, Ralph DeGuardi, in the very last week of their senior year. On September 14, 1957, she married Ralph at Our Lady of the Angels Church. They had three children, Susan, Diane, and Quentin.

In 1969, Jeanine and Ralph moved their family to California. Jeanine was a very talented artist and brought this talent to her work as an interior decorator, Christmas store designer, and salesperson.

Jeanine was a woman who lived her life to its fullest. She was always on the go, even as her health declined. She liked going to see a movie, play, or concert with family and friends. Every week she enjoyed the friendship of her 'Mahjong' ladies as they played and chatted the afternoon away. Once a month she became a "Moorpark Bunco Babe" and rolled the dice hoping for the big Bunco win!

Jeanine loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Holidays, especially Christmas, were very important to her. She also enjoyed going out to eat and shopping with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she had a special relationship with each of them. She considered herself fortunate to live so close to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed visits with them.

Jeanine was an avid reader, a hobby she fostered in all three of her children. She was a fan of technology and wanted to be up to speed on the latest gadgets and computer games.

Jeanine was blessed with the things that were most important to her, a loving family and good friends. Everyone who knew her experienced her kind and loving nature, her infectious laugh, and her crazy sense of humor. She will be greatly missed but her memory will live on in our hearts.
