Maria D. Ramirez, 89, of Oxnard passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at St. John's Regional Medical Center from a sudden illness.
Maria was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Houston, Texas, and was a Ventura County resident for the past 40 years. Maria was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She will be dearly missed by all who know and love her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jesus (husband Odilon) Martinez-Beltran; grandsons, Jose G. (wife Martha) Martinez, Luis A. (wife Elaine) Martinez, Florencio Beltran and Hector Beltran; granddaughter, Angelica Beltran; great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Beltran Jr., Angel Martinez, Thomas Beltran and Christell Martinez.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22, with rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Camino del Sol Funeral Home, 200 North C St., Oxnard. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Oxnard. Burial will immediately follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard.
