Marilyn B. Drotts was born March 15, 1932 in Downs, Kansas. She moved with her husband and children to Ventura, California in 1968. She went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2017, in Renton, Washington.

Marilyn worked as a licensed vocational nurse in several convalescent hospitals in the Ventura County area, caring for the elderly and infirmed. She retired from Oxnard Manor, Country Villa, in Oxnard in 2005. For the past few years she lived in Washington State with her son and daughter-in-law.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Drotts. She is survived by her son Dan (Cindy) Drotts, daughter Karen (Mark) Busch, four grandsons, Joel Drotts, Erik Drotts, Charles (Sandra) Drotts, and Donald (Melanie) Drotts, and three great grandchildren, Arielle, Lucas, and Alex.

At Marilyn's request a service was not held.

Right now I am remembering your mother and father and the many enjoyable conversations I had with them in their home at Hillview Estates. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Best wishes to you both and your families.
