Michael Harper, aged 59 passed away November 17, 2013 in Simi Valley, CA. Born in Santa Monica, CA May 2nd, 1954 to Gerald "Jerry" Harper and Gloria Harper, both deceased. Mike lived most of his life in Simi Valley until 2006 when he moved to Apache Junction, AZ.
Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sheri Harper, of Apache Junction, AZ, daughter Wendy Harper of Flower Mound, TX, and was preceded in death by his son Brian Harper. Mike was much loved by his extended family and is survived by his four brothers; Richard, Randy, Patrick, Doug and his two sisters Kathy andTheresa along with many nieces and nephews in Georgia. He is also going to be greatly missed by his widow's family.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Frank Roos and survived by his mother-in-law Barbara Roos, Elaine and Mardy Cobb, Ashley and Nathan Girouard, Ben Cobb, Frank and Deborah Roos, Morgan Roos, Frank Roos III, and Cindy Smith.
Mike loved spending time with his family. He spent many summers with the family house boating and camping at various lakes. He was an avid boater and enjoyed fishing. He could fix anything and enjoyed tinkering in his garage.
