Dear Ernie and Siblings
Releasing the hand of the one we love into the hands of Christ is one of the most difficult things to do, especially if the love one is your mother. I pray that you find comfort in knowing that she is now in her glory. I was not around her much, but I do remember she was a "Good Woman" and a Lady- always a Lady.
I pray that god blesses you and comforts you during this difficult time. Love and hugs,

Cathy,
May you and your siblings find peace and, comfort to help you during this most difficult time of your lives. Although we haven't been in touch I have thought of you often. One of the connections we had that I always cherished was the experience we shared, we both grew up sisters in a family with a special needs sister. That is why I will forever remember your mom. She had a quiet strength, and strong commitment to her family. She was a special mother in every sense. And she devoted herself and gave unconditional love to her family all of her life. You have been blessed for many years and will continue to be. I hope it helps to know there are many praying for you and your family...all of you.

So sad to hear of the loss of your precious mother. She and your father Richard were such a devoted couple. Deepest sympathies to your family from Louis Garnica and Cathy Garnica of Fillmore.

A dedication to a beautiful Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother
Mom, you were the best mother anyone could ask for. You did your job and much more. you were always there when needed. You provided a loving home, making dinner for dad, ironing his clothes and keeping your house clean, but most importantly, you provided love and support to my sister Sylvia, throughout her young and adult years. I did not take you for granted. You were also a disciplinarian when you needed to be. If anyone did not listen to you, then you were faced with dealing with dad when he came home from work. Nobody chose to deal with him. You were his queen in your house and your devotion to family will not go unnoticed. I remember in my younger years, you told me to go mow lawns, go wash walls and windows. You were instilling in me a hard work ethic, discipline and responsibility, which I am forever grateful to you. Again, you were the best mother anyone could ask for. You were smart, wise and I most certainly learned tremendously from your upbringing. I will always remember our daily phone conversation just to find out what you were doing. I will mostly miss when you called me and said "put it on channel 13 or put it on channel 4", there is a pursuit.
I am now relieved that you are now rejoined with dad in the heavens. You fought a very hard battle. You were a tremendously strong women. I know you will be around in spirit as dad is. Your Son,
Ernest Richard Gutierrez Jr.

Mrs. Gutierrez was a godly woman, she was a wonderful teach to our granddaughter at Missionary church, Our granddaughter loved her very much and respected her. She was always full of smiles and love and upheld high morals and values for herself. She was a wonderful christian role model for her students, she will never be forgotten, she will be missed so much. We lived up the street from her and will always remember her warm ways and out going personality, always wanting to help others. May there be more people like she was. God bless the family and be with them.
