Patsy Ruth (Dean) Garza

26 February 1932 --- September 17, 2020

Patsy was born in the small town of Scottsville Arkansas. Her father and mother, Jeff and Stella Dean had 4 daughters, Mary, Anna, Flo and Patsy and their younger brother Morris.

Patsy met her Husband Ray Garza at a USO dance. They were married in December 1953. Ray was on active duty in the US Navy. She worked as a clerk typist at several schools and after moving to Hawaii in 1967, as a clerk typist for the US Navy.

Patsy and Ray prepared and encouraged their children to attend college and four have college degrees; something Patsy and Ray were very proud of.

Patsy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great mother. Her husband Ray passed away in 2004 and their youngest son Raul Matthew Garza passed away in 2002. Patsy is survived by four children; Maureen Storm Reyes, M'Liss Sherry Garza, Patricia Rae Boyer and Ray Garza, Jr. Patsy is survived by her brother Morris Dean and his wife Carolyn. Patsy has 5 Granddaughters, 3 Grandsons, 8 Great-Grandsons, 9 Great-Granddaughters and one Great-Great Grandson. She loved and cherished them all. Patsy will always be remembered for the happiness she found in being with her family at large and small holiday gatherings. They will all miss her very much and always love her.
