Rusty K. Tyler of Camarillo died on July 9, 2016 at Woodland Hills Medical Center after a courageous four year battle with colon cancer. He was 52 years old. Rusty was born on November 10, 1963 in Portsmouth New Hampshire, to Leon Thaddeus (John) Tyler (deceased) and Betty Jane (Bennett) Tyler of Eliot Maine. He was a 1982 graduate of Marshwood High School in Eliot, Maine. He met his wife Maureen (Chambers) Tyler on a blind date set up through a mutual friend. The night they met, he went home and told his mother that he just met the girl he was going to marry. They married on May 28, 1989 and spent 27 wonderful years together. Rusty and Maureen lived in Portland, Maine where he worked for Oakhurst Dairy for nine years. They had two girls, Dezarae Tyler and Baylee Tyler while residents of Portland. They relocated to Southern California in 1997 where they raised their beautiful girls. Rusty was employed as a CAD drafter by ESN Inc.

Rusty was a devoted father and loving husband who always put the family first. He was a loyal and generous friend who was adored by many.

Rusty will be missed and remembered by his wife Maureen,daughters Dezarae & Baylee, mother Betty as well as his sister Raeleen (Tyler) Lamson and her husband Doug Lamson of Dover New Hampshire, his brother Randy Tyler and his wife Marta Tyler of Portsmouth New Hampshire, his mother-in-law Dr. Elizabeth Stone and her husband Ted Stevens, his brother-in-law Ted Chambers and his wife Kendra. Rusty also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many friends who he loved adored.



A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 16, 2016 at the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home located at 2052 Howard Rd, Camarillo, CA 93012 with a reception immediately following on site.
