Jeffrey Bodily Obituary

JEFFREY VERDIN BODILY Jeffrey Verdin Bodily, beloved son, partner, and friend, passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 54. Jeff was born on November 9, 1970, to Sterling Verdin Bodily and Christene Douglas. He grew up in Taylorsville, Utah, and graduated from Taylorsville High School. Jeff dedicated 31 years of service to the United States Postal Service, where he found not only a career he loved, but a family of coworkers and friends who brought him joy every day. He had a deep love for his job and the people he worked alongside. Jeff had a zest for life and a passion for travel. He enjoyed discovering new places and creating memories with those he loved. His generous heart, easygoing nature, and warm spirit touched all who knew him. He is survived by his father, Sterling Verdin Bodily of Vernal, and his mother, Christene D. Bodily of Salt Lake City; his loving partner, Dani Miller-Jackson; and his stepsisters, Kara (Bryan) Case of Colorado and Wendy (Jeff) Snowden of Missouri. He is also survived by his uncle, Scott (Luisa) Douglas of Nevada, along with many dear cousins and friends who loved him deeply. Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, uncles, aunt, stepmother Evelyn Bodily, and stepfather Leon Robinson. We love you, son, and miss you, kiddo. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever. aThere will be no formal services at this time. Condolences may be sent to Christene [email protected] Verdin [email protected].
