Kennith Oaks Obituary

KENNETH PAUL OAKS (KENNY) Kenneth Paul Oaks (Kenny), aged 64, from Vernal, Utah, passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2024, in Provo, UT. He was a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on October 16th, 1959, inVernal, Utah, to Owen and Dorothy Oaks, Kenneth was a loving father to Allison and husband to Julie Oaks, whom he married on January 7th, 2008, in Vernal, UT. He was also Monica's caring stepfather. Kenny adored the outdoors, often camping, hunting, and fishing. He had a passion for dogs and plants, and worked as a welder for 45 years, starting his career with his uncle Salty Oaks, and father Owen Oaks. Kenny was also known to his friends as "KO" and someone they could always count on. Kenny is survived by his wife, Julie Oaks, daughter Allison Oaks Nielson (Nick) of Kaysville, UT, stepdaughter Monica Montemayor (Carlos) of Roseville, CA, four grandchildren - Caprice Nielson, Nicholas Nielson, Scarlett Montemayor, and Luke Montemayor his brother William "Bill" Mc-Curdy (Terri), and sister Debbie Boren (Johnnie). He was preceded in death by his brothers Gary Oaks, and Ronnie Oaks, sister-inlaw Kristi Oaks, nephews Jake Allan, and Ryan Oaks, and his parents,Owen and Dorothy Oaks.
