Steven Carducci Obituary
Steven Michael Carducci, age 49, deeply loved by his mother, Nancy; and his stepfather, Helmut Pannke; his son, Gaige Carducci; and his brother, Carmen (Tony) Carducci; Paula; and her children, Angel, Eric, Shada, and Renee.
His father, Samuel Carducci, preceded him in death in 2009.
There are no words to cover the breadth and depth of his heart that touched so many lives. When you needed strength, he held his hand out for you to hold and when you needed love, his heart was always open for you to enter. When you needed laughter to brighten a dark day, his humor and smile enveloped you. He was not an ordinary man, but a very special man that had an immense heart filled with the joy of giving. The essence of who he was will live in our hearts forever.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church, 8300 N. Greenwood Ave, Niles, IL, Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. and there will be a Rite of Committal Prayer Service in the Interment Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery following the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers masses may be said or memorials may be made to Young at Heart, P.O. Box 1293, Palatine, IL 60078.

I left you when I was 8 months pregnant with our son. I´m sorry you were never able to clean up and be a part of his live. You were a great guy but the monkeys on your back were just too much for you. I´m sorry you never got a chance to know your amazing first born! He is clean and sober and always has been. I´m m sure you are proud of the man and father he is today.

I've not spoken to Steve in a number of years but he was a dear childhood friend. I recall him coming up to our cottage in Michigan with me when we were in our teens. He will be missed.
