A Celebration of Life service for Chris Edward Allenbaugh, 65, of Cookson, will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Allenbaugh home in Cookson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cornerstone Funeral Home of Muskogee.
Mr. Allenbaugh was born Dec. 10, 1957, in Muskogee, to Carl E. and Irene L. (Forbus) Allenbaugh. He died Saturday, April 29, 2023.
He attended Gore Public Schools, graduating in 1976. He continued his education at Connors State College, obtaining his Associate Degree in Business Administration.
He married Vonnetta J. (Dulaney) Allenbaugh on July 12, 1986, in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Beyond his career in telecommunication sales and marketing, he loved trying new adventures and traveling. He and his wife worked side-by-side developing a variety of personal businesses, along with building several custom homes. His proudest career milestone was establishing the highly successful Deep Branch Winery in 2014.
Survivors are his wife, of Cookson; a son, Adam T. Allenbaugh and Amber of Jenks; brother, Fred Allenbaugh and Jeanie of Gore; sister, Linda Nation and Jim of Poteau; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donnetta Schale and Tim of Fort Smith, Ark.; two grandsons; and numerous other family member and friends.
