Funeral service for Curtis Wayne Ward, 57, of Sallisaw, was held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Mr. Ward was born on June 11, 1968, in Columbus, Ohio, to Betty Lou (Taylor) Ward and Rodger Ward. He died on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025.
He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers and side-by-sides, searching for arrowheads and picking blackberries.
Survivors are a daughter, Danielle Ward and fiancé Coleton Wade of Fort Smith, Ark.; son, Ethan Ward and Grace of Sallisaw; one granddaughter; his mother, of Vian; brother, Rodger Ward and Gina of San Antonio; two sisters, April Ward of Tahlequah and Melissa Ward of Vian; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; uncles, Sam Taylor, Frank Taylor and Jake Taylor; and Nicole Goodwin Ward.
Honorary pallbearers were Rodger Ward, William Lyons, Gabe Lyons and Trevor Ward.
