Johnny "Jimmy" Vee Campbell was born on April 29, 1950, in Blackgum to Ora Wells Campbell and Fred Campbell. He died on Feb. 19, 2025, in Eunice, N.M.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home in Hobbs, N.M.
Mr. Campbell was a welder and U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include one son, Jeremy Campbell and Delores Saenz of Eunice; one daughter, Amber Campbell Smiley and Norman of Eunice; nine grandchildren; one brother, Fort of Blackgum; one sister, Mildred of Gore; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pam; three brothers, James, Freddy and Paul; and two sisters, Phillis and Wanda.
