Funeral services for Sandra Kay Gourley Malick, 73, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Malick was born on March 2, 1952, in Oklahoma City, to Alleene Mary Duke Gourley and Delbert Gourley. She passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She married Gary Wayne Malick Sr. on April 10, 1969. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2018.
She retired from SCA Packaging.
Survivors are a daughter, Dureena Doengi and Steve of Sallisaw; son, Gary Malick Jr. of Sallisaw; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Grummer and Larry of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Darrel Gourley and Mary of Rogers, Ark., and Paul Gourley and Jan of Noble; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Naomi Wilson.
Pallbearers were Gary Malick Jr., Benton Malick, Garret McWaters, Daniel McGarrah, Josh Brackett and Matthew Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Brackett, Harry Schneider, Dave Smith and Tommy Justice.
