Billie Elaine Wainwright Billie Elaine Wainwright, (1930-2012) age 81, died in her sleep at Kaweah Delta Hospital on Monday, September 17, 2012 at approximately 3:15 AM. She was the youngest of three daughters of Evalynn L. Jones and Roderick F. McLeod of San Diego, California. She married William Wainwright of San Diego in 1950 and had three sons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one sister, Maxine. She is survived by her three sons: Dale of Visalia, Richard of Bend, Oregon, and Douglas of Sacramento; one sister, Patricia of San Felipe, Baja, California and by her three grand-daughters: Jennifer and Caitlyn Wainwright of Visalia, and Alexis Wainwright of Bend, Oregon. Billie and William moved from San Diego to Hanford, CA in 1951 and then to Visalia in 1970. An avid golfer, she was active at both the Kings CC in Hanford, and the Visalia CC in Visalia. She was also an avid card player, active in several Contract Bridge groups in both Hanford and Visalia. Many of her fondest memories were of the people with whom she golfed and played cards. The family thanks all those who have already expressed their sympathies and request that in lieu of flowers or sympathy cards a charitable donation be made in her memory to "HAPPY TRAILS RIDING ACADEMY" at P.O.
