Carla Artina (Tina) Richardson passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Fort Worth, TX, following a lengthy illness. A native of Tulare, she attended Tulare City Schools and was a 1997 graduate of Tulare Union High School. She completed coursework at the College of the Sequoias and graduated as a certified medical assistant from Galen College in 1999. Prior to her illness, Tina was employed as a quality control inspector at CTI Foods, Fort Worth. She was a hard worker and lover of life and family. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Keon Poles, Tulare; son, Desmon Hendrix, and daughter, Nakiyah Richardson, Fresno; father, Thomas C. Richardson, and mother, Susie Richardson Hughie, Tulare; three brothers, Jermaine Richardson, Fresno; Thomas Vernard, and Maurice Richardson, Tulare; grandmother, Everee Hale, Fort Worth, Texas
There will be a Viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, 132 W. Kern Ave., Tulare. The celebration of life will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Peers Chapel, with a reception to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Living Christ Church, 2516 North M Street Tulare. Carla was a good friend of mine throughout high school and we graduated together. We lost contact through the years and last time I seen her was about 3 years ago. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family, especially her children. I hope you all can find peace and comfort during this tragic time. You will all be in my prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss.
