Chris Champion Cole was born on September 21, 1931 in Birmingham, Alabama to Amanda C. Hale Champion and Jesse L. Champion. Chris went to Heaven July 11, 2015 at the age of 83 in Visalia, CA.
Chris grew up in Tulare County. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Cole, her parents, son Michael Smith, brother Bobby Champion and sister Shirley Champion Mattingly.
Chris is survived by two sons Jerry and Donnie Smith of Exeter, one grandson Michael Smith, a brother Billy (Shelia) Champion of Tulare CA and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Exeter District Cemetery.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.evansmillerguinnchapel.com. Services entrusted to Evans Miller Guinn Chapel.
