Eva Marie Jaramillo, 71, passed away November 8, 2017 in Ogden, Utah. She was born July 26, 1946 in Tulare, California to Samuel Rodriquez Rios and Margaret Aruijo Rios. She graduated from Tulare Union High School. Eva joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was 17.

Eva married Lorenzo Ochoa Jaramillo on October 24, 1970 in Tulare. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2010. She was a dedicated member of the Tulare, Calif. M.A.D.D. for several years. She was very involved the Garden Elementary PTA when her children attended school there. She enjoyed volunteering and serving others. She was a very independent and loving person. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family.

Eva was very loved by her family, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and by her many friends.

Eva is survived by her children Lorenzo Richard Jaramillo of CA, Loretta-Lynn Nicolin (John) of UT, Crystal Gayle Jaramillo of CA, Carroll-Ann Welch (Eddie) of CA, Jessie Jaramillo of CA; close friends Julio and Sheryl Carrillo of UT; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Also survived by siblings, Margie Ynclan, Amanda Ruiz, Patricia Rios, Ida Rios, Ronnie Rios and Joey Rios.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Samuel "Sammy" Rios and Richard "Chuck" Rios; sister Marlo Marie Rios all of Tulare, CA.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at the No. Ogden 22nd Ward, 2850 N., 900 E., No. Ogden, UT. A viewing was held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT and Wednesday prior to the service from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, No. Ogden, UT.
