Francis Carley

Francis "Frank" Carley Mechanic Frank was born in Cahone, CO on July 30, 1941 to Ralph Adam and Mary Elizabeth Carley. He passed away on September 1, 2012 in Ivanhoe CA at the age of 71. Frank served in both the US Navy and the US Air Force, obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a mechanic all of his life. He loved fishing, antique cars and reading. He enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with his friends at Ryan's and Mearle's. He also enjoyed playing computer games. He is preceded in death by his parents and one grand daughter Jennifer. Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nelda Carley of Ivanhoe; his children Cindy Carley of Visalia, Leeman Carley of Ivanhoe, Michael Carley and his wife Rebecca of Porterville, Tammy Carlton and her husband Brian of Lincoln, AR; two brothers, Ralph Carley of Florida and Talbert Carley and his wife Lela of Visalia; grandchildren Barbara, Ethan and Lucas. The family would like to thank Victory Holiness Church and all of their friends and family for the food and most of all for the prayers during this time of sorrow. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel followed by burial in the Bakersfield National Cemetery with Military Honors.
