My thoughts an prayers go out to one of the most loveing honorable families I have known. As a young girl I had the pleasure of having a wonderful friend, Virginia , an that friendship introduced me to her brother lloyd gene how proud they were of this young man who was in the marine corps at one of the toughest times in our countries history's, the Vietnam Nam war . Over the years there were many times I was honored to say I knew Lloyd an the miller family , his sister Linda became my best friend . We will never be able to thank this marine for all he did , but knowing Lloyd he never expected thanks he did what he loved . To all he left behind Pearl , Tommy, Virginia , two wonderful sons , grand kids , nieces nephews thank you for letting me be part of Lloyd's an your life's . Claudia Atkins

Growing up with Loyd's Sister, Linda, we always looked up to her big Brother. Through the years we were amazed at the places he had been and the adventures he had, some very frightening for us, but it seemed so easy for him. Loyd was a Hero to all of us who knew him and now we can all rest assured that he is guarding the Golden Gates. He is once again with his loved ones gone before him and I know the He and Linda are trying to get in a few off color stories. Thank you Loyd for your service to our Country and the love you had for all your Family and Friends
